Volvo Records Show Sales Increase

Driving into the month of August, Volvo Cars leaves July after posting an increase in both monthly and year-to-date sales.

According to media.volvocars.com, 44,278 Volvo vehicles were sold world wide, resulting in an overall increase of 6.2 percent from July of 2016. This adds to the total 321,919 vehicles sold so far this year, which is a 7.9 percent year-to-date increase from the 298,272 vehicles that were sold by this point in 2016. The three best-selling vehicles are the XC60, the V40/V40 Cross Country, and the XC90. The XC60 has sold 13,713 this year, 2,427 of which were in July, while it only sold 12,628 at this point last year. The V40/V40 Cross Country has sold 7,209 vehicles, and the XC90 has sold just over 6,500 vehicles so far this year.
