Volvo Teams Up With Google on Its Next Infotainment System

When it comes to today’s luxury vehicles, one way to measure that level of luxury is in the level of technology it provides. In the case of Volvo vehicles, that technology is capped by a Sensus infotainment system. But, as time marches on and the levels of technology and luxury continue to increase, Volvo has teamed up with Google to ensure that increase in ease and connectivity for its future models.

According to media.volvocars.com, “Volvo Cars, the premium car maker, announced it is working with Google to embed the voice-controlled Google Assistant, Google Play Store, Google Maps and other Google services into its next-generation Sensus infotainment system, based on Google’s Android operating system.” Through this integration, Volvo looks to further enhance the driver’s ability to connect and interact with the car, as well as update and downloaded applications in real time, faster than before.

Now we at Volvo Cars of Marietta are so excited for this new infotainment system and all the convenience and luxury it can add to our vehicles, and we can’t wait for you to experience it for yourself. Until then, if you have any questions regarding our current inventory, please feel free to contact us directly either by email or over the phone for more information. We proudly serve the current and soon-to-be Volvo drivers of Marietta, as well as those drivers of the rest of the Greater Atlanta Metro Area.
